1 out of 5 stars I guess I'm an idiot.   June 14, 2010

I've always considered myself kinda smart but for some reason I had the distinct impression that this device would back up my hard drive, and yes, I read the description before I ordered. I really wonder if the description has been clarified, it's been awhile since I ordered it since I pre-ordered a book at the same time and had them shipped together. At any rate, I'll be dealing with a return and trying to get the right item this time.

5 out of 5 stars Works Like A Charm   June 7, 2010

I've seen many products like this one all over the internet and the majority of them are missing the disk yet charge the same price or even more! This was priced reasonably and was shipped very fast.

As far as the actual product, using it was easy and quick to do. Having the disc wasn't absolutely necessary but I felt it made the transfer of my xbox files much smoother.

If you're upgrading to a larger HD, then this is the product to get.

2 out of 5 stars Wrong Reason, Could have had better description.   May 9, 2010

This product is for Xbox 360 MEMORY UNITS not Hard Drives as apposed to the description. If used for the correct reason it appears it would work. I got a full refund, though. Also, this is an Unauthorized Product made by Datel, in case you wanted to know.

3 out of 5 stars It does its job   April 14, 2010

IT HELPED ME WHEN I NEED TO USE IT FOR ONE TIME BUT THE CD THAT COMES WITH IT IS USELESS. I HAD TO DOWNLOAD XPORT360 IN ORDER TO USE IT. BUT IF YOU NEED TO TRANSFER THIS DOESNT WORK ANYMORE SINCE MICROSOFT NOW LETS TRANSFER BY USB FLASHDRIVE

5 out of 5 stars Does Work - Read my notes   March 28, 2010

The transfer cable works well but beware if you are running Vista or 7. They do not have any notes about the software that comes with the product. When I tried to install the software that came with the kit, it would not recognize the memory when I connected it to the computer. I found out through searching that you need to download the Xport 360 software from the Codejunkies site then install the drivers located in the install directory. There is another way to make the memory work that involves using a generic mass storage driver. I found those directions on Youtube.
