Love our new xbox elite! June 9, 2010 M. Hexum (Walla Walla, WA) My husband loves his xbox! The whole family has a great time playing it. We weren't huge fans of the games it came with, but it was a great price for the bundle. I would buy it again if I had to.
excelente April 27, 2010 rookie demasiado bueno el equipo y sobre todo el embalaje que le solicite a amazon fue perfecto los tiempos de entrega los graficos del xbox son buenisimos sobre todo en esta consola con placa jasper
So Far, So Good!!! April 26, 2010 Alonso (San José, Costa Rica) I own a Nintendo Wii, but you know, the graphics and some of their games are not the best in the market. So it was time to try a new video game console. Two options, PS3 or XBOX 360. Well, at the end XBOX. So if you are planning to buy a new console, try this. Oh i forgot, if you have an HDTV, please buy an HDMI cable and use it with your game system, its a big difference instead of using the standard AV cable that comes with the XBOX.
The bad thing, you have to pay to get online experience.
So far, so good!!!
best babysitter ever April 9, 2010 K. Hinaman (Cheyenne, WY United States) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
I got tired of being a parent and always being asked "I'm hungry" and having to break from my trivial duties (such as finding a job for the fall) and having to make a meal or popcorn or getting a bowl of frozen yogurt and I wanted to get my son an addiction but wanted to keep him away from sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll (rap in his time). This XBOX is the best babysitter ever. Yes, now and then the wife screams at me about "you're using it as a babysitter" and I am worrying about how thin he is becoming, but I so enjoy his conversations "kill kill kill" and "cover me" or best is "I'll cover you" (I want him to care about his fellow citizens) with his on-line buddies. In addition he is learning so much about history although I guess we'll have to reteach some basic facts, such as the Nazi's did not employ zombies in World War II. But, at least he is getting some history, which is a lot more than he would get from the cartoon network or even the history channel, which has put out some great science shows ("The Universe" and "How the Earth was Made") but doesn't have much "history" any more. The Xbox is also great at teaching geography along with helicopter and weapons recognition. The month-by-month on-line subscription is also great for motivating him at meeting his AR goal and NOT "forgetting" to turn in homework. No A's then no Gold subscription for next month. It works. I could probably get him to jump through flaming hoops but DFS would toss me in jail and put him into a group home. He would probably take that deal if they would let him play on-line Xbox 24/7.
Good deal April 8, 2010 Juliet (Allen, TX USA) The Xbox scratched one of our other games while it was being played.
Batman is fun but obviously for kids. Pure is just okay.
