Skeptical purchaser
It gave me what I was looking for. 2 rechargeable battery packs and a recharger stand. It was simple, worked like I wanted and seemed to be the best bang for the buck when compared to other charger bases and battery packs. The packs seem to last for about a solid 12 hours each of actual game time. I generally only use 1 of the packs at a time and only recharge each pack when there completely out of juice so that my explain the longer than expected battery life. If you will be using 2 or more controllers constantly, I would recommend getting more battery packs so you can completely drain each battery pack before putting them in the charger. One annoyance is that the batteries themselves aren't heavy enough push down the charger button when placed on the charger without the controller. This could be a nuisance to those who use 2 controllers constantly since if a battery dies, you supposedly need a controller to hold the battery onto the charger to change. Best bang for your buck compared to other chargers on here though.

I bought the charge base over a year ago and it has been great. The battery packs fit really well on the back of the controller (the controllers have fallen off the arm of my couch several times and the battery pack has never came off or been damaged). And since the recharge connectors are located on the back of the battery on the outside all you have to do is set the controller on the charge station and it does the rest. It charges quick and the batteries stay charged for an impressive amount of time. After a year I would estimate I get about 10-14 hours of use with each charge. So if you have 2 controllers and keep one charged while using the other you never have to worry about not having a controller ready to go. I highly recommend this product and it's easily one of the best after market gaming accessories I've ever had.

We bought this Xbox 360 Charge Base for our teenage son, who, like most, games A LOT, including massive Xbox-Live gaming. We were constantly going through batteries. Not since this arrived! It really does work exactly as it says it will...Hmmm...What a concept, eh? And a very welcomed one! He just drops them easily into an open slot in the charging base, and, voila! They are perfectly charged. Consistently. They've held their long charges as described, and this is after well over a year ago(so long i can't remember exactly, even Amazon doesn't show me anymore, as they will usually display at the top of the screen on the product's page, the date you last purchased that item. I guess after awhile they don't)? Not sure, but it didn't this time, so i couldn't tell you exactly when we purchased this awesome unit, but I did think it was important to review it after it working well for so long; to share with you, our experience at least, w/its durability and how it seems to be holding up so well over time. One more plus is that it's also a good little storage place to keep the chargers neatly w/out taking up much space at all. I HIGHLY recommend this GR8 product!!!

Are you an avid gamer? Do you struggle with your controller when the batteries start to die? Are you tired of having to go to the store to buy batteries right in the middle of your game?
Well look no more! This is the charger of all chargers. Forget that little charge n play kit from the Microsoft company. Get the Nyko Xbox 360 Charge Base. It comes with the base and two (thats right, two) rechargable battery packs. Each pack holds a 25 hour battery life.
For those of you who might worry about over charging the battery. Don't. The base charger has an automatic cut of when the battery pack is fully charged. No worry. No hassle.
And for those of you with only one controller, like myself. The trick is before you start using this amazing tool. Charge one of your packs over night, and find something to put pressure on the other pack, this way they are both getting the same full charge over night, when you start to lose power in one, which I have yet to do, just switch over to the other battery and enjoy another 25 hours of gaming.
So stop buying batteries and get on this product. By the time I will have to buy a new rechargable battery pack for this, the 360 will be outmoded.
